The 2012 Mazda MX-5 is quick handling, explosive and fun. This car is an icon in the automotive world. The Miata has been called one of the all-time greatest roadsters. It is affordable and has low operating costs. There is no need to break the bank to enjoy life in a sporty car. There are both soft-top and hardtop designs for this convertible. The hard-top offers better noise control and the sense of security.

The Miata comes with a 2.0L inline-4 engine that produces 167 horsepower (158 with the automatic transmission) and 140 lb-ft of torque. Paired with this powerhouse engine is the choice of a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, an optional 6-speed electronically controlled automatic overdrive or a 6-speed electronically controlled automatic overdrive and lock-up torque converter and paddle shifters. You will be burning some rubber in this baby!

There are four available trim levels, the GX, SV, GS and GT. The top speed is 206 km/h with 0-100 km/h 7.5 second acceleration. Hold onto your hats! The Miata is known for its responsive and engaging handling. You will feel in total control along any winding road at any speed. The almost perfect 50/50 weight distribution contribute to this exceptional experience. Your adrenaline will be pumping and your senses will be tingling.

The body design of the 2012 Mazda MX-5 is classic like the original Miata roadster. It also has modern inspiration with the design of the front bumper in 2009, 16-inch aluminum alloy wheels along with 205/50R16 performance radial tires. The soft-folding top and hardtop both come in black which contrasts nicely with the chrome/silver accents of the dual exhaust outlets, on the outer door handle and the finish on the headlamp bezel.

The cabin design of the 2012 Mazda MX-5 is simple but elegant. A silver-finish interior trim that includes the gauge rims, air-vent bezels, door inner handles, shift-plate and steering wheel. Gorgeous accents of leather on the steering wheel, shift knob and parking brake handle bring luxury. You will feel like royalty when you sit down into the 2012 Miata.

The best in safety features keep you and your Miata safe and sound. You will find anti-lock disc brakes, side airbags, along with stability and traction control.

The wonderful thing about the 2012 Mazda MX-5, Miata is that even though it is meant to go fast, it is still a great commuter vehicle. It is compact and can fit into any parking stall. It is also great on fuel economy and will be driving past many gas stations you see others stopped at. We only have one life, why not make it fun?!
