The Heart and Stroke Foundation asks, what will your last ten years look like? The team at West Coast Mazda paired up with the rest of the West Coast Auto Group to raise awareness of heart disease and stroke prevention. The fundraiser brought in more than $5,000 at the Big Bike Race on May 3, 2013.
The day was filled with fun and laughs but heart disease is no laughing matter. You can make a difference. Eat wisely, stay active and learn more about the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Cumulatively, local business in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows banded together for the cause. Coming in a short 21 seconds behind the Molicel Heart Throbs, the West Coast Auto Group, “CAR-Diac Cruisers” put in an honest effort as they pedaled hard down the streets of Maple Ridge. They’ll be back on the big red bike again next year. A big extension of appreciation to everyone who volunteered, made donations and helped make the day a wonderful event.
