Mazda Hype Increases with New Lineup
Mazda is making waves with news of its new car lineup. The company announced additions to its lineup with new vehicles along with changes to its current models. The vehicle that will offer the biggest change is the redesigned Mazda CX-9 crossover. Buyers can see it in person once it is unveiled this fall.
Mazda announced that the entire lineup will include SKYACTIV Powertrain technology. The cars and crossovers will now be more powerful than ever. Additionally, the company will continue implementing their Kodo philosophy in all areas of Mazda design. The purpose of a Kodo design is meant to make customers think of animals ready to move with the concept of energy in motion. This concept will factor into future car designs.
Additionally, Mazda announced that the Mazda3 will have a design update for 2016, which will mostly be interior. In 2018, the car will be completely redesigned to further enhance the Kodo philosophy. Drivers should also keep an an eye out for the minor exterior changes to the Mazda 6 and the the Mazda CX-5 next year. The company is also hinting that there could be a new performance vehicle in Mazda’s future using the 2.5 litre turbo engine that is now seen in the CX-9.
