Mazda Canada is continuing its work giving back to Canadian communities. For the 2023 Rising Legends Campaign, Mazda in Canada along with the entire Retailer network will provide up to $1 million in support to youth (aged 15 – 24) who make a difference in their communities. West Coast Mazda had the opportunity to present a cheque to Madison Dunmore for $2,500 through this initiative.
Madison is a 20-year-old student and a dedicated community volunteer with a strong passion for making a difference in her community. She is a notable volunteer with Alisa’s Wish Child and Youth Advocacy Centre. This organization plays a crucial role in the community by facilitating a compassionate and coordinated approach to preventing, identifying, prosecuting, and treating abuse involving children and youth.
In addition to her involvement with Alisa’s Wish, Madison is an active member of uPlan, a dynamic community of young individuals aged 14-24 dedicated to advancing the City of Maple Ridge’s Youth strategy. Most recently, Madison has extended her volunteer efforts to Corporate Connect, an events-based organization designed for young professionals and students to expand their networks. She supports event planning while successfully managing the demands of her full-time studies.
Madison Dunmore’s inspiring dedication to volunteering and community involvement reflects her strong sense of social responsibility and her desire to contribute positively to the well-being of her community and its young members. She is a shining example of the impact that a passionate and dedicated individual can make in the lives of others.
