It is difficult to articulate the kind of sadness we feel as a nation in the wake of the tragedy surrounding the Humboldt Broncos. After all, watching and playing hockey is a favourite among Canadians.
The staff at West Coast Mazda chose to sport jerseys on Thursday in show of solidarity and support for mourning Canadians everywhere. Our employees have also come together to raise a donation of $1,313, which is being matched by the West Coast Auto Group for a total of $2,626.
Canadians throughout the country also wore jerseys, displayed hockey sticks, and donated to the team’s GoFundMe page. While there may be no words to describe the sadness that weighs on the hearts of this country, we extend our deepest condolences to those affected.
